To want purple socks?

I like purple.

I have one pair of purple socks, and I ration my wearing them because I know that they will eventually wear out.

There are often purple socks to be found in the women's ranges, but women's socks don't fit me. I have big feet and ankles, and so I wear the smallest size of men's socks.

Is it too much to ask for a multiple-pack of men's cotton-rich socks in various shades of luscious, lovely purple?

Simon Carter does purple socks. Not cheap but they are very good quality.

I have some purple M & S men's socks ... they did come in a pack of 5 different colours, but the rest were nice too :)

Edinburgh Woollen Mill does men's purple socks but in a mixed pack with other colours.

Yes, MyCar, those are the ones I've got, the streaky ones. I just wish I coul find a packet of mostly purples. It's annoying to have a drawer full of the dull colours I've had to buy in order to get the one or two nice ones in the packet, and then I feel I have to wear them out before I can justify buying more socks.

Can you not buy plus-size socks in the UK? I have big feet, and that's what I have to buy, ladies' plus-size socks. They usually run sizes 10-13.
