On a mechanics garage near to my mums, it just makes me smile every time I see it. The way they've been attached to the door makes it look like they're warning people not to park on the roof :o

It's a pic of a blue door with two signs, the top one says
DANGER
FRAGILE ROOF
And immediately underneath another sign says
NO PARKING

The council have taken them down now, but near the river embankment, there were two road signs fixed to the same post. One was a triangle one with a duck on it. The other warned of speed cameras.

Blimey - how fast were those ducks going?

I love funny signage!

When I was at school the school next door (the boy's school, I was at the girl's school) had a sign up saying "Warning, large erection under construction". To this day I can't believe one adult didn't see it and think it was perhaps not appropriate.

This sign is in the middle of nowhere near where I grew up and makes me smile everytime

Near where I live when coming onto the main road to get to the motorway there's a large sign "North, South, East, West: Left. All other routes: Right" nonsense! I love it!

A couple of years ago a friend told me that on the council grit/salt bin in his road, someone had added the word TRUE in front of the word GRIT

Two stick in my mind, both from years back. The first was on holiday in Spain, a shop was selling some kind of cuddly toy with a button that you pressed to make it laugh hysterically. The sign underneath proudly announced " touch my knob and I will be very happy"

The second was closer to home. There's a large crematorium in my town, and a lamp post has a sign saying " crematorium 1 mile". One year someone decided that this same lamp post was the ideal spot to advertise thier upcoming event. " bonfire 6pm"
