Went food shopping last night. Food was being scanned by checkout girl. She paused, lifted her top slightly, trousers undone and started adjusting her belly button ring. Then proceeded to scan my food, whilst giving me a weak, pathetic smile. Did she want sympathy? Grim!

its a shame you didn't have some hand gel in your bag- I may have been tempted to say ' can you give your hands a wash with this please'.. ? I am like that thatbloodywoman I do try not to think too much if people are being clean after they go to the loo then give me my food in a restaurant or wherever! I bet a lot don't, in a rush to get back on duty, not really been shown how to wash them properly etc. we just have to hope for the best!

Once I was at the till and instead of handing me my receipt the cashier folded it up, used it to scoop a bit of gunk out the corner of her eye, and then gave it to me!
