to serve under baked cake!

Baked and started to ice a birthday cake for my nans birthday party when I realised the very top outer layer was under baked so I cut off the top and the rest seems fine. Slightly moist in the middle but not gooey now. Haven't time to re bake as I've got to go out first thing in morning and won't have time to allow cooking and then ice.
Will it be ok?

It was a little more than moist on top there was some very gooey looking bits on top but I hot rid of all that before I iced it

You wouldn't normally find that the top is undercooked as the outside cooks first. If any of it is undercooked it'll be the middle. Hav eyou cut it through the middle op??

All this aside, it'll be yummy- undercooked/raw cake is my fave, particularly chocolate flavour!

Omg I love raw cake mix. I used to make extra cake mix so the dc & I had plenty to share.

I know I was a bit when it was the top that was uncooked... I cut the top half off and the middle was baked pretty perfectly and there just seemed to be a pocket in the middle at the top that didn't bake.. strange huh?
