Along these lines. "Does anyone have a flat screen telly as mine blew up. If you have one please email me the model no so I can see if it does what I need it to do"

On our local free cycle we had someone ask for a free small inch telly fair enough but then wanted it delivered too!

I love these! On my group someone asked for an iPad but it must be in good working condition with no scratches. Oddly no one replied.

in the past when i used to use free cycle i used to ask for delivery but i used to pay for it to be delivered. because i dont drive. if the person is happy to deliver i dont see why it matters. overwise they may as well make it freecycle for drivers only.

but i have seen things like cars being offered. laptops computers washing machings dishwashers. general house furniture. and more general things like clothing and pushchairs toys and smaller type stuff

Well, no, ghost depends where you are, and what it's for. I've gone to pick stuff up by bus/tube, and the one thing I had to hire a van for, I made all the arrangements, not the people who were kind enough to give me the thing.

We have a selling page thing at work and I love it - full of people wanting an iPhone cheap or free, then turning their noses up when offered an iPhone 4 or something. Or being really really specific about an item they want and being disappointed when no one comes close.
