Just looking for company really. Came away for the weekend and the nanosecond I got on the train, I went down with a hideous head cold. On my second night of being awake with it. No real cotton hankies like at home, miss my own bed, just shattered really. Feeling sorry for myself - oh, and Vicks first defence emergency nasal spray is crap. It doesn't stop colds in their tracks at the first sign etc. it just makes you sneeze more IMHO

Poor you. I'll give you virtual sympathy, a cup of tea, a shit load of meds and tuck you up in bed!
What always works for me is to take as much medication as allowed and go to bed with a double duvet arrangement. Sweat the bugger out!

Hope you feel better soon

BrewFlowers

Vicks nasel spray is a form of torture.

Hope you feel better soon. Some nice films to watch today perhaps?

I came for my monthly visit to my mum who is in a nursing home but obv I haven't been able to see her and now I have to travel back again to day, infecting everyone on the train which probably also seems a bit unreasonable but I can't help it. £75 poorer after a wasted journey to spend the weekend in bed. An afternoon watching films would be lovely but sadly I fear it is to be an afternoon slogging across the country, including the tube. Aargh.
