To wonder if I've just coughed my bladder out

I'm so worried and just hope somebody can put my mind at rest because I have googled images and am freaking out. I coughed yesterday really hard and felt a strange sensation in my vagina as if I was bearing down which I was a bit to really cough but it felt different somehow. Anyway I have looked and there is nothing hanging out of my vagina but when I had a feel inside I can feel a sort of lump along the front wall as if the vaginal wall has sagged a bit Blush. I don't have any pain anywhere and no loss of function in bladder or bowel and generally feel completely normal. After having 3 massive babies I had some pain with sex and went to the doctors who did a really thorough examination and said my vagina was perfectly healthy. I'm going to GP Monday morning because I'm worried sick but does anyone know anything about this? Not a nice start to valentines weekend, to break my vag coughing Sad

Not in the least bit medical but it sounds similar to when I had a prolapse.
Your GP will sort you out.

Bladder isn't a solid object, so you shouldn't be able to feel it. I'd go with prolapse to be honest. Get the to GP for an examination.

No personal experience, but my first thought was also "prolapse".

Google cystocele Flowers

FindoGask · 14/02/2015 13:01

What you describe does sound like a minor bladder prolapse. I'm sure your GP will be able to help on Monday - poor you, what a fright.

Babyroobs · 14/02/2015 13:02

Sounds like it could be a vaginal or uterine prolapse whch can happen when the muscles are weakened following childbirth. Try not to worry, it is a quite common problem but you do need to see your GP on monday.

FindoGask · 14/02/2015 13:03

ps, I'm pretty sure I have a small rectocele, but it doesn't seem to affect me much.

SweetValentine · 14/02/2015 13:03

I have one, it's the walls of the vagina becoming lax Through childbirth. it has caused me no complications whatsoever (diring sex or urination or leakage). Mine is only mild
