Lucky Jim.

CaptainAnkles · 12/02/2015 19:04

Do Jims do leg sessions?

Roobo · 12/02/2015 19:04

Jim really takes the cake!!!

My old neighbour was called Jim.

He was lovely. He grew exotic veg (was from West Indies) and once saved my life.

Don't think he does leg sessions though.

DH spends a lot of time at the gym. I often rib him about it being a cover for his secret affair with a man called Jim. "Are you seeing Jim tonight and returning all sweaty and exhausted?"

Bambambini · 12/02/2015 20:36

I had this sickly twee post today. The friend is lovely though it made me want no reply -"what, like a rapist or murderer or summat!"

To think this FB status is taking the piss?

The first thing my cousin did when my Grandmother died a few weeks ago was post a facebook status about it.
Literally within 3 hours of it happening.
He wasn't close to her and is a huge attention seeker
myself, on the other hand, was devoted to her and 4 days later had my partner of 5 years leave me, have to sell my house and my business collapsed - and not a word of it on FB.
There's a time and a place and a topic for FB posts and attention seeking crap is not in that list.

HairyOrk · 12/02/2015 20:58

Sorry.
And breathe Grin

There's a gym near me called Jim!

Charlotte3333 · 12/02/2015 22:02

Flowers HairyOrk, what an awful time you've had of it.

Agree completely, FB is not the place for personal/dramatic stuff. Nor a diary of all your "jim" visits.

QueenBean · 12/02/2015 22:04

HairyOrk that's terrible, sorry to hear Flowers

Did have a giggle at Jim though

MrsCosmopilite · 12/02/2015 22:14

Urgh - I've got really fed up with a couple of people (to the extent that I have hidden most of their status updates) who have gone on and on and on about the passing of famous people.
One is STILL going on about Rik Mayall. Yes, he was funny, yes he was clever, yes he was attractive, but she had no relationship with him.
Another is going on and on about her cat. It was 20 and it died.

I suspect I'll get flamed for that but ffs, I've lost both parents, two close friends and now, very recently two more relatives, one of whom I was quite close to, and I'm having to make all the funeral arrangements. I'm not banging on about it on facebook, I'm getting on with it.
