To put a giant hairnet in my dog

She is shedding. Hair everywhere. I vacuum three times a day and still there is hair everywhere. I've brushed her every day, Yep, hair everywhere.

So short of epilating her bald, I think a giant hair net head to toe will have to be worn until she is done shedding.

Cut out the middle man and hoover the dog??

That's what I do! My daft mutt thinks it's the most fun thing ever.

Rainicorn · 12/02/2015 12:25

Tempting, but she is scared of the vacuum. I was debating buying a Dyson with pet attachment but she would probably have a heart attackmif I came near her with it.

My friend's mum hoovered their dog every day until she got too close to his... ahem... well, let's just say it didn't end well and she doesn't do it anymore Grin

Personally the people I encounter who have a liberal sprinkling of dog or cat hair or parrot shit on their bald spot (divorce was mentioned at the time) are far more interesting a joyful than people without.

In your dog?! Confused

MrsTawdry · 12/02/2015 12:44

How will you insert it though? Front end or back?

DropYourSword · 12/02/2015 12:48

Would definitely be better to spread it in peanut butter and get the dog to eat it.

Unless said dog is allergic to peanuts. That would then not be a very good idea at all.

Gruntfuttock · 12/02/2015 12:49

MrsTawdry, IME poking anything in the back end always results in it coming back out again, whereas poking it in the front end only sometimes results in it coming back out. Therefore the front end is best.

Sometimes I'm so clever it frightens me. I'm just glad that this forum gives me the opportunity to share my wisdom and experience with lesser intellects.

You're welcome.

I sometimes wonder why DH and I don't get furballs [like cats] from ingesting all the fur floating about from the goldies....

MrsTawdry · 12/02/2015 12:55

Grunt yes. She could put a pork chop inside it first? The hairnet that is...

kittentwo · 12/02/2015 12:57

I feel for you same thing here.

DropYourSword · 12/02/2015 13:01

Would it act like a parachute brake if he pooped it out whole?

Rainicorn · 12/02/2015 14:02

Ha, didn't realise my typo. I blame the iPad.
