To think that Celebrities who block Twitter users are cowardly.

Of course I agree when they block abuse and disgusting personal threats, however...

I follow a lot of celebrities on twitter and very rarely post, however tonight one celebrity asked for opinions on a certain thing that they were a part of and I gave mine.

I was in no way rude or offensive, I said my opinion as was asked of me and they blocked me because it wasn't 'OMG I LUFF U!'.

AIBU to think that celebrities should realise that not everyone is going to worship them?

How do you know they blocked you? Forgive me for being thick, I made a twitter but didnt understand it so quit it

On the thread you had with that person, Twitter says "this user has blocked you" where normally you would be able to reply, whatawhoop.

When you try to view their page it says 'you have been blocked from seeing these tweets'.

I am a relative novice to the world of twitter and once responded to a mean-spirited tweet from a journalist, suggesting that she was being mean-spirited, and she blocked me! Someone who is known for forthright and provocative opinions (but whose writing I enjoy) who I thought would be robust and be open to opposing views. I don't think I was rude, but perhaps too honest.

Of course, I forgot, people in the public eye aren't allowed to have opinions, or feelings, are they?

Why exactly do you even care that you were blocked?
