to not want to sleep here tonight

I'm 18 weeks pregnant and today whilst at work we had a woodworm treatment put down in our small (unused bedroom)

I rang the company yesterday to ask about any possible risk and was told that it would be fine by the time I get home from work and just to keep the bedroom door shut

I get home to find the bedroom door wide open, along with the door to the room we sleep in (I wasn't the last one out the house) and the whole of upstairs absolutely stinks...

I don't want to sleep here tonight, no so much because of the smell, but because of the chemicals that have been sprayed and any potential harm that may come to baby.

It's going to stress you out and the smell will probably make you feel sick so harmful or not, if you aren't 100% happy sleep at a friend or family member's house.

YANBU I would sleep elsewhere a nice hotel would do

I wouldn't sleep there, given that the door was left open. Seems like it was suggested to be kept shut for a reason.

Is there anywhere you can go for the night OP?

Thanks everyone. For some reason DP didn't seem too concerned so I've left him to deal with it and I'm sleeping at my mums!
