AIBU to think that there are just too many methods of communication in the modern workplace and there's only so much the average human can cope with?
Landlines, mobile phones, email (100's per day), IM's and that's before scheduled meetings (F2F/remote) and getting your job done! It's crazy.
Maybe it's just me, but I do struggle with the constant contact and the expectation for immediate response. I find it very difficult to manage, especially the huge number of emails. I fear what's coming next!
