I've lost 3 stone of lard over the last 6 months (another 3 to go).

I gave up wheat/gluten 5 months ago and cured the very irritable bowel. Which is good.

For January I've eaten v healthily. Lots of veg, beans, pulses. Vegan. And also not had any alcohol for 4 weeks.

So why do I feel and look like shit?

At what point should I look and feel better?

Or do I blame the bastard mirena. Had it in december. Have until May to see if it cures other bits of me otherwise the whole lot is coming out. It hurts.

It's normal to feel rubbish if one bit of you hurts, even if the rest is doing okay.

Might be worth having a word with your doctor (I'm assuming you've been careful setting up your vegan diet to make sure you're not short on anything important).

Diet-wise I've been very careful. Eating much more balanced than I ever have.

I'm used to bits hurting. They always have had. So why do I feel shittier than usual?

Well done on what you've done to improve yourself!
I suppose it doesn't help that it's January and all a bit grim at the moment. Think about how great it will be to get out in the summer and show off your beautiful body!
How are you for physical activity and socialising? Could joining a club or taking up a social hobby help? Get involved in volunteering? Go for a walk in the bit of sunlight you get..

Don't know anythng about Minerva but the implant is good.
