to ask for ideas how to help this charity?

Through a friend of a friend I 'liked' a cat charity on Facebook. They're based in Bulgaria where the attitude to animals is a lot different and some of the things they've faced is awful.

The woman running it is constantly begging for donations (she has photos of the cats and their vet bills so pretty genuine I believe) so I regularly send money but I really can't afford it all the time.

Does anyone have any good ideas to raise funds? I'm thinking more along the lines of people I could write to for grants for her as opposed to holding a fundraiser type thing!

Maybe you could call Cats Protection and speak to one of their people about it? The could possibly give you some advice.

Would knitting or crocheting blankets help?

There are books you can buy with lists of potential funders. Maybe contact the institute of fundraising or the charities commission for advice?
