Hi. Im ran off my feet all day with a colicky DD . And not in the mood to cook. I got a bag if chips smothered in salt and vinegar. And loads if buttered bread. Mmm. DH reckons ita way to early for that. I told him if he wanted to buy food and then cook it, I wouldnt have got the chips. And it was only a one off. And im entitled to not cook for one day. He's in a strop now Hmm

If the chippy's open, it's not too early. It's a late lunch. Chippy isn't just for Friday tea time & coming home from the pub. He's jealous he didn't get any.

I'd love meat pie & chips right now. But I'm in bed with labyrinthitis & already put on about 1/2 a stone eating crap goodies DH has bought to cheer me up. Sad

GokTwo · 22/01/2015 14:30

It's ridiculous to be in a strop over this. Enjoy your chips.

26Point2Miles · 22/01/2015 14:31

Bloody hell, that's carb Central! I want that now.... Proper butter and white bread??

desperatedino · 22/01/2015 14:32

We quite often get a bag of chips for our lunch and sit out somewhere scenic to eat them.

Just ignore him and enjoy your food.

squoosh · 22/01/2015 14:32

Enjoy your chips and ignore moany pants.

blingblingbling · 22/01/2015 14:33

I wouldn't mind, but I bought him chips to. And yes, real butter and soft fresh bread Grin

Jackieharris · 22/01/2015 14:35

I'd rather have chippy chips for lunch than dinner.

ExitPursuedByABear · 22/01/2015 14:36

What exactly is he moaning about?

gaggiagirl · 22/01/2015 14:36

He's a bell end and you're a legend!

Mmmmmm chips.

blingblingbling · 22/01/2015 14:37

He's moaning because, in his opinion, chips and bread isn't a "proper lunch"

He's in a strop because of what you eat for your lunch? Is he always a controlling twat?

DejaVuAllOverAgain · 22/01/2015 14:52

Then he can make himself a proper lunch. YADNBU

He on the other hand needs to grow up.

ExitPursuedByABear · 22/01/2015 14:53

Fry an egg and throw it at him.

What did he fancy for lunch then?

weirdo

PervyMuskrat · 22/01/2015 14:57

Mmmn, lovely. My Friday lunchtime treat whilst I'm on mat leave is a chippy lunch with loads of salt and vinegar Smile

iklboo, my sympathies. I've had that for a while now and it's horrible. Hope you feel better soon!

HoneyIsBeePoo · 22/01/2015 16:41

Is he six? No? Then he can make his own lunch! Jeezo...

EduCated · 22/01/2015 16:54

Oh my life that sounds good Grin A sneaky bag of chips at lunchtime or on the way home late at night is a beautiful thing.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 22/01/2015 17:14

You've made me hungry. Never too early for a chip butty (7am might be pushing it a bit Wink)

HoneyIsBeePoo · 22/01/2015 19:02

Oh, you're the equivalent of those men who pretend they can't iron, despite being Engineers at work or something. Cunning.
