I emailed them to complain about some Birds Eye Fish Fingers Omega 3 that I gave to my three year old son. I cooked them as per the instructions and served them up on his plate. As he is only three, I cut them up into small pieces for him and was horrified to find a large piece of plastic completely encased in the fish finger. If I had given them to him to cut up and eat himself (as he sometimes does) he would have surely choked on it. It was completely invisible from the outside as it was right inside the fish. Clearly there is a problem somewhere along the line with the quality control.
I sent the email on the 9th of January and then chased it up on the 14th. I called them today to find out WTAF is going on, and was patronised by their customer services department about checking my inbox / junk mail / spelling etc etc. Apparently it's because I included the photos that they requested and they were over 4GB. AIBU to be annoyed that they didn't actually stipulate this limit on their website, or send an email saying that the email hadn't got through (auto-generated failure message)? It was only 3 photos of fish fingers and packaging, not my frickin holiday snaps.
