To love the tweeting fruit flies

onboard the International Space Station. twitter.com/AstroFruitFlies

And I don't even 'do' twitter. I should be working but keep checking in for updates. I know this is either a NASA marketing ploy, or the work of geeky science freaks with nothing better to do, but I can't help but love it.

Same for the ESA comet lander a while ago: Rosetta twitter.com/ESA_Rosetta and Philae twitter.com/Philae2014 .

I know I am being ridiculous but I can't keep away. Help?

Well, it's not really my thing (I like TheTweetOfGod and PigeonJon), but it brightens up your day and gives you a laugh, so YA definitely NBU.

If this is a project to jettison all these annoying sods from pubs into space, I'm all for it. Apparently, flying in Zero G means they stop going in triangles so it looks like that's where they belong anyway.
