no...!

zippyandbungle · 14/01/2015 17:35

Not at all, when we were there I was amazed at how many young couples on honeymoon there were. Go for it.

WorraLiberty · 14/01/2015 17:39

No, if that's what you're into it's not weird at all.

BadtzMaru · 14/01/2015 17:44

I went for the first time aged 27 with DH, he had been before but I hadn't so we went for one last big pre TTC holiday.

Bowlersarm · 14/01/2015 17:51

When we went we met lots of couples who had gone by themselves and left their perfect age for Disney children at home, so YANBU.

molyholy · 14/01/2015 17:52

We went disbeyland paris last new year with dd and were amazed at how many adults there were! The queues were ridiculous for everything and we couldn't understand why an adult sans children, would queue for 2+ hrs to get their picture took with someone dressed up as mickey mouse Hmm

fluffyraggies · 14/01/2015 17:53

No. My DD1 loves all things Disney and would go like a shot i imagine. She's 22.

Greywackejones · 14/01/2015 17:54

Nope. Did Disney France at 30!

Bloody marvellous. Grin

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 14/01/2015 17:55

No! There is loads for adults. In fact I'm looking forward to going without dc again when they've grown up! lol

evenherfartsarefragrant1 · 14/01/2015 17:57

I really am not a fan of Disney. But if you love it. Then go. Treat yourself!

SurlyCue · 14/01/2015 18:01

Nope not at all. I'm looking forward til my DCs are grown so i can either go without them or go go as a group of adults rather than a parent and child combo being restricted by so many things.

beautyfades · 14/01/2015 18:04

No I love it and I'm 33!

Thudercatsrule · 14/01/2015 18:09

I'm 40 this year and DH and I are having a sneaky trip to Disneyland without the kids to celebrate and then we are taking then to WDW a few months later to celebrate with them...so no, you are def NBU!!

KitKat1985 · 14/01/2015 18:14

YANBU. Me and DH went for our honeymoon and had an amazing time. There's loads there for adults! x

LittleMiss77 · 14/01/2015 18:17

I did Euro Disney last year for my 34th birthday. .. Disney is wasted on kids!

Nancy66 · 14/01/2015 18:19

It's not something I would understand but I wouldn't think it weird either

AcrossthePond55 · 14/01/2015 18:27

I go to Disneyland 1 - 3 times a year, my just BFF and I. It's wonderful! Non-Disney people just don't get it and they never will, so you just rock on and go!!

BTW- DH and I are making our first trip to WDW in April. I'm sooo excited!!! DH isn't a Disney-phile, we're making it a cross country trip with our caravan so even he is pretty excited.

Cooki3Monst3r · 14/01/2015 18:30

Hell no!!! I can't wait to go without kiddies so I can stroll around and look at all the intricate architecture.

Vicks72 · 14/01/2015 18:34

YANBU - I know people who have been there on honeymoon. Just don't knock small children over or jump over pushchairs to get to the front to see the parades, both of which happened to my dd & ds in Euro Disney!

comeagainforbigfudge · 14/01/2015 18:39

I have a friend whose kids are no longer interested in going (18yo - so holidays with mates time)
But she still goes with her hubby. They she love it so!

Go go! I haven't been since I was 17. And it was the L.A. one. Would love to got to florid a!

lalalonglegs · 14/01/2015 19:13

We were at the cinema yesterday (seeing Birdman, so not a children's film) and there was a whole advert featuring a childless couple having an amazing time at one of the Disney resorts. Not my cup of tea but, apparently, you would not be alone if you went child-free.

Hillfog · 14/01/2015 19:18

We went in our 20's and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Studios for a few days. Lots of fun!
