To expect a soap wedding to have a happy ending?

Ronnie has just died on Eastenders.

Last week, Andy and Katie's wedding on Emmerdale was interrupted by barmy Bernice.

Sigh...

Should've watched Miranda. She got her man in the end.

foslady · 01/01/2015 21:43

Soaps NEVER do happy ever after!

LuckyLopez · 01/01/2015 21:50

Did you watch eastenders op?

ThePinkOcelot · 01/01/2015 21:57

Haven't watched soaps for years, but therewas always a glitch or something for weddings. They're all shite really.

You got up and walked away disgusted too early!
Ronnie is back from the dead!
I expect by the middle of tomorrow's episode she'll be back in dot's kitchen ordering Nick to go away and rifling through her purse for odd 5p pieces to give him, in addition to the ?£110,000? She's given him so far.
Jaded about EE story lines much, who moi?!?

The more dramatic, the more ratings they get. Hence all the fracas on Eastenders every Christmas.

Simple. Peace and harmony doesn't make people tune in.

Fighting, aggro and aggressive behaviour does.

YABU! Soaps are there to make us feel better about our "normal" lives... Disclaimer: I've only just started watching eastenders again since Xmas so I have no attachment to the characters and want Ronnie to die
