I had the Marina coil fitted just over 4 years ago at 50 years old due to horrendous periods that would have stopped me leaving the house.

Now I want it removed as I've only had sex once since it was fitted and I guess the menopause could be over?

Would I expect to bleed for a few days after?

What's your experience?

HELP me make my decision PLEASE!

Cos I'd like to feel like having sex again and I've had an uncomfortable itch which some other people have mentioned that I don't know if it's the coil or the menopause.

It feels psychologically, like a foreign object, Red...

It seems like a no brainer to me. If it's affecting your libido and you think it's outlived it's usefulness. Get it out!

You can. Always have it refitted / try something else of your periods come flack in force
