i'm really curious on this one, do women want to change their looks for health, look more attractive to men/women or is it about wanting to make other people notice you in a possibly more positive light ie you must be a nicer person if your slim [or like wise thinking - sad really when you think about it]. everyone has so much to offer but so many are never content with their looks, what's your reason and who are you doing it for ?

I do it for myself as I'm happier and more confident when I'm healthier (and slimmer) that in turn makes me feel more body confident and sexy with OH.

I don't like it when I'm heavier. My clothes don't fit and I feel old.

It's ridiculous how easily I can put weight on if I take my eye off the ball and I know it will be a long boring slog to take it off again so I try to avoid letting things get too much out of control although I can't resist Christmas cake so next week isn't looking too hopeful.
