To eat the Christmas party cakes?

I've made chocolate cupcakes for DS's play group Christmas party tomorrow.

Trouble is, they look too good. I want to eat them.

AIBU?

You should probably test one.

Quality control?

AlwaysDancing1234 · 18/12/2014 19:50

If you've made a dozen you could get away with eating 2 or even 4 without it looking dodgy (speaking from experience!) Grin

I've eaten 4.

The others are looking at me...

I've eaten 6 now.

What's the minimum amount I can take without looking cheap?

Just remaining ones look a bit fancy with icing etc!

You have to send in a least a dozen. If you have less than that left, get off MN and back into the kitchen, my lady.

(If it makes you feel better I just scarfed the smoked salmon and blinis that were for friends coming for supper tomorrow night.)

FFS what is it with MN and cake?

You're a grown up

If you want to eat them then just do it.

Tell your child they will be 6 cakes short because that's how many you ate and as long as they have enough to take, I'm sure they won't mind.
