Obviously this isn't U. Just thought I would see what others think.
So, one day David Attenborough will stop narrating (wish he would go on forever). I have watched other wildlife programs on NatGeo etc and they are just missing something, that something being David Attenborough doing the narration.
There is something about his voice that makes the documentary complete and keeps me watching.
So I was watching Life on Netflix the other day and was trying to think of someone who could replace him, I just couldn't. But just now I have realised that I think the perfect replacement would be Julian Barratt - from Mighty Boosh fame. He has done the string of mini documentaries on the BBC - The Fifteen Billion Pound Railway, The Route Masters: Running London's Roads, The Tube: An Underground History and Channel 4's 999: What's your emergency?
I think he would be the perfect replacement, he has that same calming, comforting, trustwortyh voice that David Attenborough has.
