To go on strike from parenting tomorrow?

I'm 39 weeks pregnant and therefore knackered and I've got a terrible cold. I have a 2.5yr old ds and have taken him to playgroup and to feed the ducks today and have had him on my own since 7am. Aibu to ask Dh to let me stay on the sofa watching downtown abbey tomorrow? The idea of going into labour in this state really worries me.

Yanbu.

He will be doing more when baby arrives anyway so he needs to step up!

Not at all - I think you take off the whole weekend.

I'm in the exact same boat but importantly minus the cold, and am having the day off parenting tomorrow...in fact am going out all day so no one can even ask me to "just change her nappy" or "just look after her for a minute while I..." etc. You need to rest!
