why I do not go on facebook! mum thinks I've called her a cunt!!

have confirmed today that I will be visiting parents for Christmas, we live in different countries and the last time I saw them was around february of this year.

so all really happy about xmas plans. mum as usual posts on facebook about how happy she is...tags me in it and all her buddies are commenting about this. 60 odd likes and about 30 odd comments. fair enough.

so my cousin comments something silly to me and tags me in it so we have a bit of banter. of course im now in the thread of comments.

mum pipes up and cousin posts a picture with the words beloved aunt...

so I am immediately reminded of larry david in curb your enthusiasm where he mixes up the 'a' with a 'c' to get beloved cunt. and I go and post something to that effect...its odd sense of humour, I figured my cousin would appreciate it.

now mum thinks I've called her a cunt. help. she won't talk to me now

does any of that make sense?

But surely calling her a cunt would be completely out of the blue and out of character?? She must know that. The penny will drop once she's calmed down.

I think it's more to do with the way her Facebook buddies could misinterpret my humour and therfore mum does not have the loving daughter she boasts about all over Facebook

she lives her life on the thing, and because of this all her buddies have an unrealistic view of me perhaps...? I don't know

fwiw. I do love my mum, but im just a normal daughter with a normal relationship with mum.

I struggle how she could see it as you calling her a cunt, unless she has no sense of humour or is a drama queen.
