not sure if I believe my hubby when he says its the combination of a couple of pints and cold air that make him need to go quickly iyswim

YANBU, cold air does make you want to pee, not sure why though.

It does, not just men. A couple of pints is probably a trigger for everyone though.

It makes 6 week old ones want to pee I can confirm that much. I get sprayed every time I open a bloomin nappy.

splendide keep a folded up muslin handy and slide it straight on as you take the nappy off, limits the spraying a bit.

To get all technical it's something to do with the vasoconstriction of the blood vessels to try and keep you warm.
