Does anyone else remember being traumatised by the films?

Had forgotten them but watching the 70s
it will be alright I remember the paedophile, stranger danger, train danger, fireworks danger etc.

Anyone else that old?

I walked by with ds today near our local pond, it was misty and rainy immediately I thought of dark and Lonely water

There were lots about safe driving. We really need that kind of thing again.

I think I had blanked them out to be honest for 40 years.

The paedophile one scared me do much I couldn't sleep. There was a part where a girl was crying and there was a huge shadow of a monster on the wall behind her!

Just watched the one that traumatised me, seriously, 1971 where Lucy is abducted and there's a huge shadow of a man above her.

In those days though we watched the film and that was it. No debrief.

However watching as an adult it was actually very good and measured.
