Thank you Dawn for taking the time to mention it. Can I ask, I remember being given a white ribbon to wear at school for the awareness of violence against women, I presume it would have been on this date. This was in Canada though. Is the white ribbon a thing or was it just something my school did that year. I remember we gave a donation of $1-2 (Canadian).

I don't know of anything like that in the UK Ilive.

White ribbon is a thing. My local police are wearing it today, as are hospital staff around here and the met police.

That's cool, Infinity, I am very rural so maybe that's why I am unaware.
