Watching Gotham the other night and had a thought...
He is, apparently, the only good cop in a city riddled with crime and corruption, trying to make it all better.
Fast forward to Batman and Det. Gordon has moved on up the career ladder and is now commissioner....in a city that is still riddled with crime and corruption. So nothing has changed.
So, despite his best efforts, all these years have passed and the city is no better.
Or, maybe whilst overcome with lust Im missing something....
(loving the evolution of Penguin though)
