DD1 had a Victorian day in year 3 (school girl dress and smocked apron) This Christmas she is a 'Victorian Londoner' the costume requirements are different enough (this must be a blouse and skirt). Out comes the sewing machine.
Are they actually expecting the costume police to check on the integrity of the production?!

At least you can sew.

Yes. There is that. I imagine the parents who forked out a fair bit on costumes last term will be fairly hacked off (unless they have been cunning and sold them on).
