To want tights that don't ladder?

Every pair of tights I buy seem to ladder within ten mins of me putting them on. I've tried several brands, even expensive "no ladder" tights.

I'm tall so I think that's half the problem, tights just don't pull up high enough. AIBU to want to have tights that are long enough for me? My old maternity ones were perfect :(

I hate tights with a vengence. Same here, tried all sorts in the past and they all ladder. I am 5ft 7 so not overly tall, but i do wonder if this is why they dont last longer than a day! They can put man on the moon, but ladderless tights or tight pop socks for under trousers and its a real problem it seems.

I buy Wolford; expensive at £20 a pop, but a couple of pairs last the entire winter.

Looked up wolford, never heard of them before. They certainly look hardy tights!

I was also going to recommended Wolford. Worth every penny, also always size up in tights.

Buy maternity ones again?

I've started buying M&S 100 denier black tights. I think they were £10 for a pack of 2 pairs. I've had them for just over a month now, and have worn them at least 3 times a week, with ni laddering.
I'm 5' 10" if that's important.

  • no laddering...

I buy 15 denier from John Lewis. They last longer than the ones I used to buy from M&S.
