Dropped mooncup in office loo

Help me mumsnet jury.

I dropped my mooncup in the loo at work this morning. Did fish it out, cleaned and wrapped it up in my bag.

WIBU to sterilise it in miltons this evening and carry on using it or should I buy a new one?

(Trying to tell myself it would be silly to throw it away but on the other hand it has been down a semi-public toilet. Boak!)

I found my old flat mate's moon cup sitting in a pan of water in our kitchen once. A pan had previously used. I picked it up before I realised what it was :(

Again. Nothing wrong with that - its all sterile...

I would sterilise it and use it again.

I've dropped mine down the toilet twice sterilised it in boiling water and it's fine

Yes, it's the illogical squeamishness that would get me to consider buying another! I know sterilising it would be fine, but... Urgh, work toilet!
