To feel paranoid about fb and my sister

Feeling hugely paranoid ... I have uploaded pictures of my little boyto fb mainly so my partners familly can keep up to date as they live abroad ....I've noticed however that for the last six months my sister ignores my pictures never comments or likes them whereas she always used to....
I am starting to feel paranoid about it ...I only usually put one on every few weeks so its not like I am putting hundreds up every day ...
In the past my sister has told me she feels jealous when people are having a good time and they put their pictures up and has often hid people from her news feed
She puts up pictures and I always like them as they are of the kids etc,
I can't help but feel like I am being ignored I know she has seen them as she slips up sometimes and says she has seen them... I know it's silly but Aibu

It's just FB.

People dont have to like or comment on things. Doesn't mean they don't enjoy seeing them.

Does she live far away and you rarely see her or are you in each others lives on day to day basis?

meant to say, I don't like or comment on most of what I see on fb. Doesn't mean I haven't seen it, haven't enjoyed it.

I see her every few weeks....think I am being paranoid then lol...the joys of over thinking fb !

Definitely being paranoid - she is your sister, and your children's aunt, so what she does or doesn't do on FB is of little consequence. Honestly, I'm more concerned about her: why does she feel jealous when she sees people on FB having a good time? Is she unhappy herself? Do you think she was trying to tell you something when she said this?

Facebook seems to bring out the paranoia in people. A friend of mine asked me why I commented on other people's posts but hardly ever on hers! Another friend complained I don't put enough pictures of myself on my FB page... I never realised I was going to be asked to explain myself on what I do or do not do on facebook.

She has always been jealous that way even when people get parcels to the door !!? your right I am being paranoid which I thought I might be ...I just know if the shoe was on the other foot she would be pissed off with me ...don't want to start an argument so I will just leave it...

I can see where you're coming from. I have sometimes thought things like this about FB and then thought to myself 'get a grip, it's only facebook!'

The pics might not be coming up on your sisters feed, just because Facebook have changed some algorithm (or whatever they do). I have loads of FB friends that I never see anything of on my feed, and I know they are active FB users and fairly sure they haven't blocked me

Facebook itself is the problem. I know lots of people think it's great but the day to day opportunity to reveal yourself to others, allow people to snoop and be silently critical, with the chance of rejection each time-can't see the point!

The good bits don't outweigh the bad IMO

It sounds like she is very unhappy - why be jealous of people getting packages for heaven's sake? That sounds like an unhealthy degree of wanting something just for it's own sake (particularly if she saw some of the boring shite that gets delivered to this house, let me tell you!).
However you don't have to lower yourself to that level - you've said she would be pissed off with you if it were the other way round, but nothing you've said about her makes me think she is someone you want to aspire to be like so just choose not to care and move on!

You might not show up in her newsfeed anymore - if she's added a few friends then FB might have bumped you from the list of regulars.

I definitely only see certain regulars on my feed -fb selects what you see based on it's own criteria
