To bring the toaster upstairs?

Hungover and I wanted a huge Sunday dinner but that isn't possible.

So hot and very buttery toast is my next choice but I also want to fester away in bed.

It would make sense to just bring it all upstairs wouldn't it? I could easy finish a loaf off as I haven't eaten properly in a couple of days.

Unless someone is willing to bring me a Mcds or a full roast dinner Grin

Do you not have a takeaway that delivers?

BlinkAndMiss · 09/11/2014 16:12

YANBU. You could always do what one of my FB friends does - ask if someone can bring you Mcds or a roast dinner. Someone usually does!

MollyHooper · 09/11/2014 16:12

YANBU.

Normal appliance etiquette goes out the window when there is a hangover involved.

Bring the kettle up too so you can have hot tea with your buttery toast. :o

You'll get uncomfortable crumbs in the bed though

EatShitDezza · 09/11/2014 16:14

Only takeaway that does at this time is likely to kill me off. Grin

No one will bring me food Sad

Even asked mum but she is cooking something I don't like today.

take the quilt downstairs and fester on the sofa in front of the TV, pausing for regular bacon butty breaks.

It's the only way.

EatShitDezza · 09/11/2014 16:30

Toaster is in the room. Managed two slices and I'm done.

Think eating was a bad idea Grin

Son isn't home til 6.30 so I'm going to fester in bed.

YANBU.

I was hungover yesterday and consumed:

Three bacon butties
Two creme eggs
500ml tub of ice cream
2 litre bottle of diet 7up ('diet' of course, as I am watching my calorie intake)
Half a pig

I'm lucky though and live in an apartment so don't have to negotiate any stairs in my pursuit of hangover food. I'm disappointed in my friends though - not one responded to my 'I'm fungry :-(' status.

I like a KFC and lucazade when I'm hungover.

Usually fixes me straight up.

I ended up getting a pizza at 7ish. Feel fine now

dioralyte for the hangover. Then plan the night before.

Have a Sunday dinner on Saturday but make enough for 2 dinners and reheat one for Sunday.

WalkingInMemphis · 09/11/2014 23:51

My hangover cure is dioralyte, orange juice and coffee. No food in the morning but a big meal for lunch.
