Booked to do an 'adventure' style activity 3 months ago at a centre about 2 hours from me. Got a phone call on the date to say sorry the weather isn't good enough. I rebooked for the following week.
Drove up and was told sorry, you can't do it as the weather isn't good enough. I was a bit annoyed but didn't say anything. Rebooked for today.
Just had a text that the weather isn't good enough
Activity cost £200 which I paid when I booked. Now the place closes from the end of November - and is only open weekends, I only get one day off a week and I haven't been able to do anything the past 3 weeks because of this.
Aibu in thinking that it should be clearer that they need perfect weather conditions and these are unlikely in autumn and winter?
I don't know whether to ask for a refund as I've 3 more 'chances' this year then it's closed until march!
