Other than that they're all part of the establishment and no-one exists who won't be connected with the important people of the day in some way.

Theresa May is apparently going to make an announcement about it on Monday. It has been suggested that they'll have to get a foreigner to do it.

I agree Mellow. It is actually quite scary just how connected all the people with any kind of influence are.

I don't think that was an apposite choice of words, mellow.

I think there are a number of people in positions of power that do not wish it to go ahead though.

They're all in it together.

It's given everyone lots and lots of time to hide evidence, hasn't it.

This has taken so long now I doubt there'll be a decent conviction of anyone major, it'll all be the ones lower down the pecking order that'll be made an example of, get spoilt in prison and then let out early on the quiet.

I'll even go so far as to say the whole bloody thing is pointless now.

The problem is that the parameters of the enquiry are so vague that it's impossible to know who is and isn't too biased to chair it. One chair has had to recuse herself and it looks like this one has lost everyone's confidence too. If this carries on it will just never happen.

It would be better to pick one incident or location and focus on that. Would be much easier to find someone impartial to chair it.

They're thinking if looking overseas or starting without a chair. I'd like to see Clive Stafford Smith chair it. I've tweeted about a couple of times but as I have 2 followers and have only ever tweeted 4 times its not really taken off.

Theresa May to make a statement to Parliament later today after the last person given the job (who knew?) Fiona Woolf, stepped down due to concerns over impartiality. Woolf is the Lord Mayor of London, but did not have the confidence of victim groups as it emerged she has had numerous dinners with Leon Brittan.
