to be annoyed that I never win

The Lottery. I don't buy a ticket very often and when I do it's because I've made the decision that I'm ready to win several million. I've worked out whose mortgages I'd pay off for them, what car I'd buy for starters and which charity I'd donate to. Then where I'd go on holiday to relax and think about what I'd do with the rest.

But oh no. Nothing. I'd understand if I was mindlessly buying tickets every week in a frantic and greedy fashion but I'm making sensible decisions here.

Humph.

Stop playing. Stick a fiver in an old coat pocket that you're not going to wear for ages) then the feeling of happiness when you find that will cancel out the disappointment you describe above!!!! Grin

What annoys me most is when I return the clearly broken and faulty lottery tickets to the shop.... they never give me a refund.Never.

KnackeredMuchly · 26/10/2014 08:42

I feel exactly the same OP

jeee · 26/10/2014 08:43

I've always felt discriminated against - why should the fact that I haven't purchased a ticket be used against me?

Thebluedog · 26/10/2014 08:44

I couldn't agree more... I'm awesome at picking the wrong numbers so why the hell haven't I picked the right ones yet Confused

Stropzilla · 26/10/2014 08:47

I ALWAYS pick the right numbers. Camelot are wrong. They haven't responded to my emails yet.

PiperIsOrange · 26/10/2014 08:58

I pick the right numbers every week, the machine is just faulty atm and don't draw them.

Purplehonesty · 26/10/2014 09:00

I have it all planned out too. What I would do for others, how our life would be.
But nada. Something is clearly wrong

LovleyRitaMeterMaid · 26/10/2014 09:06

There's something wrong with the whole system. So many people denied their right to millions on a weekly basis! Scandal.

Well I won £14.50 on Friday wtf I wanted 150 million! It is just not fair, why did they think I bought the ticket!?!?

londonrach · 26/10/2014 09:13

I won three weeks ago.......im £40 better off. Cant tell how amazing that was. You get a little winners ticket.....

HappyAgainOneDay · 26/10/2014 09:24

I stopped buying lottery tickets when the price of a line was doubled. It means that I now win and in pocket by £288 every year!

magpiegin · 26/10/2014 09:25

You lot can all back down. It is my turn next. I have made all the plans, the voluntary work I will do, the fake grass in the garden etc.

Andrewofgg · 26/10/2014 09:31

If you want wrong numbers try BT instead.

Frogisatwat · 26/10/2014 10:05

I don't even get a tenner anymore
However I do win frequently on scratch cards. I won 2.00 this week.

WhereHas1999DissappearedToo · 26/10/2014 10:16

OP, I feel you, the last time I won the lotto was about 1997 and only £250.

PrettyBelle · 26/10/2014 10:33

They say you are either lucky in love or game. I prefer the former :) so never buy lottery tickets.

Andrewofgg · 26/10/2014 15:48

Money can't buy you friends but you get a better class of enemy - Spike Milligan.

OwlWearingSunglasses · 26/10/2014 16:14

Well I won it on Friday. DC and I have been making plans all weekend what to spend all that cash on.

It's the Jackpot, obviously, but I haven't yet checked the ticket as we're having too much fun deciding. Grin

LovleyRitaMeterMaid · 26/10/2014 16:17

U do that quite often owl, I like the thought of an unchecked ticket tucked away whilst I go about my day to day pauper life blissfully unaware I'm actually a mega millionaire.

I am going to take my ticket back to asda and complain. I asked the woman for a lucky dip. I didn't ask for an unlucky one. Probably my own fault for shopping in asdaGrin
