To lock the door and go to bed?

Stupid arse dh had gone out to the pub and about three hours ago I found his house keys. I have text him to say I have them..... No acknowledgment. About twenty minutes ago I sent another message saying I really want to go to bed (dd will be up in a few hours) so could he head home soon or at least give me a rough idea of when he will be back. Again no reply! I should just lock the door and go to bed, he can sleep in the plastic playhouse right?? Confused

Go to bed! he can phone you when he gets back? annoying though.

You need to get some sleep. Could you leave a key outside somewhere and text him the location? Is there anywhere you can sleep near the door so that he doesn't wake the entire house when he rocks up? If he's had a bit to drink, I'm not sure that sleeping in the playhouse would register as an alternative to ringing the doorbell or knocking loudly.

Hoping you are asleep, and is in the okayhouse

Thanks everyone, I went for a snooze on the couch to be woken at half three with him jumping the garden wall and trying to shake open the patio doors Shock. The thing is he is generally a smart guy but turns into a silly eejit when he had a sniff of booze (don't we all lol) Smile

Wouldn't it be more sensible to hide them under the mat or in a pot plant or something and text him to say where the keys were?

However I wouldn't. Someone robs him, takes his phone and wallet, finds out where he lives then goes and robs the place.

It IS a good idea to have a designated hiding spot though for such times... not that when people are drunk they can think straight though...
