I'm ranting here as it's stopping me from texting/fb messaging!

So oh & I driving home with 2yr old ds today, have to pass local school & as pick up time v busy roads surrounding. Driving down road & solid (ish) line of parked cars on other side of road, we are passing these when a small car comes screeching towards us (we are way past passing point by now), driver not looking & checking phone. Stops & refuses to reverse so oh reverses a fairway back so other driver can pull into space all whilst driver is gesturing at us. Gets part way past us, stops & is screaming abuse out window at us (ds on same side of car). Oh says actually our right of way/priority but all sorted now let's get on (she hasn't pulled all way in to space at this point so we can't move) & she screams "f off you f c, just f** off & die.

During all this I've realised it actually used to know this girl ( were quite good friends until a couple of things happened & not spoken since, around 5yrs - this is probably exacerbating my feelings) & she has her daughter in the front seat . Also loads of parents & children walking along road so they can all hear & my ds is clearly visible in rear window.

I'm just really shocked that she behaved that way (oh wasn't swearing, aggressive or particularly retaliatory) & the language used in front of children. I realise im possibly being a little judgy but needed to get it off my chest. This rant is also stopping me being stupid & messaging her directly.

And breathe!!

Sounds like a charmer!

I bet she feels like a right twat now that's she's calmed down.

Or not.

Either way, she should be thoroughly ashamed of herself.

Sorry, not suggesting you do but I'd be texting her and telling her exactly what I think of her performance.

Honestly I'm v tempted but won't, don't think she recognised me. I shouldn't be hugely surprised tbh if her previous actions are anything to go by. I'm not missing that friendship!!!
