Exhausted and need organisational tips

I feel like my job is taking over my life to the point where I've no time to even grab a shower which would be more reasonable if it wasn't a badly paid job!

I start at 6:30 am most days. The problem is it's hard physical work so after morning shift I'm sweaty and feel mucky. I often don't get home until 11 at night. (3 days a week.) I only have 1 day off.

I'm eating badly and gaining weight - no time to cook or exercise! I end up grabbing McDs or similar (my job is based in a car.)

I don't even know when to get time to have a proper shower or bath at times.

The most helpful thing you could do is find a different job - this one sounds awful! Do you really work that many hours? Is that allowed?

What is your job and what are your hours? Are the other four days off?

If you're getting up at 6.30am and getting home at 11pm then no wonder that it feels your job is taking over your life, organisational tips are not going to help you find time to cook or exercise. It sounds really difficult and it sounds like you are being really hard on yourself thinking that you should be fitting more in. Brew Apart from suggesting you look for another job I was wondering do you're colleagues work such long hours or do you think you are you doing so because of a lack of organisation or perfectionism?
