When it all started back in 1912, she was not the youngest of dogs. How is she still staggering on?

What year is it supposed to be now?

I reckon the family keep getting new ones but can't think of any new names. They must be on Isis IV at least.

The one from the first series was Pharaoh, but Isis from series 2 onwards, so still getting on a bit!

It's 1924, and the series started in 1912. Daisy said she "left school at 11" and it is not inconceivable that she would go straight into service, but was obviously older than that in the first series. She was old enough to marry William in s2 circa 1916, so I would guess she should be mid-late 20s by this current series.

I have had the same thought- I'd have thought old Isis would be pushing up some dog roses by now. Will we then be free of her large Labrador arse in the credits then? Don't misunderstand me, love Labs but not her best camera angle!
