They are making me feel queasy, and I feel like I have been averting my eyes from them for days now.

Can't we have something nice to look at instead?

Ooooh, my smiley was weird. It was meant to be Shock not :o

GhettoFabulous · 16/10/2014 19:56

Since when was Hallow'een an American festivity? It's Scottish, transported to America by immigrants.

DealForTheKids · 16/10/2014 19:58

So relieved I'm not the only one who saw the foreskin similarities!

noitsachicken · 16/10/2014 20:01

Glad it's not just me! They are vile and have been bothering me for days!
I don't know why, usually a bit of gore doesn't bother me, maybe it's pregnancy hormones, but the fingernails are really getting to me!

Phew not just me seeing penises. I was starting to worry about myself. I did at first assume it was MN being deliberately provocative along those lines

QueenOfThorns · 16/10/2014 20:21

They're grim. It's the horrible bulbous nails with the blood

ouryve · 16/10/2014 20:23

YANBU!

holdyourown · 16/10/2014 20:55

YANBU
penises to me as well Grin

temporaryusername · 16/10/2014 20:57

YANBU they are horrible. I hope they'll be going soon. How do you get rid of them?

listsandbudgets · 16/10/2014 21:31

YANBU - vile. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and now my eyes keep sliding towards them as if magnatised by the horror

Please Mumsnet can we have something else. What about some nice cudddly kittens?

CherryDolphin · 16/10/2014 21:33

They do make me feel a bit queasy.

CherryDolphin · 16/10/2014 21:34

I've just realised something - they're meant to be food? ConfusedHmm

UncleSue · 16/10/2014 21:37

Yup, revolting, and they are suggesting we eat them... Erm no thanks.

PetulaGordino · 16/10/2014 21:38

oh I feel vindicated now

Pasteurella · 16/10/2014 21:40

I was thinking about saying the same thing - far too realistic, and are those supposed to be bloody fingernails? Yuk!

InfinitySeven · 16/10/2014 21:57

I've been testing saying ah-mond to people today but they keep correcting me to almond.

I don't think the silent L thing works in London or the Midlands, based on my day long survey.

Purplepixiedust · 16/10/2014 22:00

YADNBU. I am sick of them too.

On an even grosser note, i have been getting funeral plan ads in my facebook feed since my mum passed away and it is really really getting on my tits!

IsItMeOr · 16/10/2014 22:10

No.....Deal, now it's even worse!

Why did I ask?!

(And apologies to Mintyy for missing that you had already done this).

OP posts:
Backtotherealworld · 16/10/2014 22:13

I was going to post something similar a few days ago. YADNBU OP, they're vile!

SilverDragonfly1 · 16/10/2014 22:15

Thanks ppl who reminded me I have ad block! blocks element

chaosmonkey · 16/10/2014 22:15

Ooh, I'm so off-trend! I sort of love them. I've planned our first ever Halloween party just so I can make them.

chipshop · 16/10/2014 22:18

I agree, they're horrible! The "blood" under the fingernails is creeping me out.

MyOneandYoni · 16/10/2014 22:19

Hate 'em.
Not merely for the gruesomeness, but merely the dirtiness.
Eugh.

I wouldn't let them pick at my naice ham.

Trickydecision · 16/10/2014 22:38

I love them and can't wait to make some with which to terrify the DGCs. Grin
