parents have broke up and step dad is ignoring us!!

Not sure if this is the right place but im pretty pissed off but don't know if I should be!?

My parents mum and step dad have broke up after 18 years of marriage. My dad died when I was 15 so my step dad has been a dad for a long time he even walked me down the aisle. I've not heard from him since they split up and he left a voice mail on my sisters phone saying he didn't want to come round if I was at mums. Am I being unreasonable to be pissed off about this. I've done nothing wrong as far as I can see and he's just ditched me and the kids without a reason or word!

He's changed his number I don't know where he lives now either. I was going to call him but after that voicemail I don't know if i should ask my sister for the number and call him if he feels so negatively towards us he's nearly 50 years old and I made it clear to both sides that I wouldn't be taken a side in all this.

I was thinking I might do that see if he replies but it's such a mess they split up when I was 11 and much the same thing happened then till they got back together! Thanks for your advice I really appreciate it :)
