They are a load of arse.

I like the ones from The Asda.

If they think all of their customers are posh cunts then they can get to fuck.

There's plenty of other supermarket deliveries happy to make money from us without having to be derogatory.

I always have very nice Ocado drivers

CedricBloomer · 14/10/2014 18:58

Posh cunts with loads of stairs.

They always want maximum respect as well. They can get to fuck.

I fancied trying Ocado but I've been put off slightly.

paxtecum · 14/10/2014 19:04

I always have very nice supermarket delivery men.
They have all been, without fail, polite and helpful.

Asda, Ocado, Sainsbury and Tesco.

I also treat them with the same respect that I treat everyone.

AuntieStella · 14/10/2014 19:04

There are a lot of Ocado threads this evening. Is it something in the water, or the phase of the moon?

I've had one horrible Ocado driver, many many ones who are fine (and therefore unmemorable) and two or three who stuck in my mind as lovely (I've even emailed Ocado once about the loveliest of them all).

LittleBearPad · 14/10/2014 19:08

Only ever had one crap one and I have a horrible number of stairs

HairStylistToBoris · 14/10/2014 19:08

I think someone has issues they want to get off their chest tonight. It could get interesting :-) personally my groceries are delivered by DH who occasionally gets tips but not in money format.

futterwacken · 14/10/2014 19:11

My favourite ever driver was from Waitrose. I wanted to cuddle him but I don’t think it’s allowed.

That Jesus in the Cabbage Van can swivel while he's about it.

Seriously what does hardas have a aginst mn? Does he think this will win him mre tips?

Hulababy · 14/10/2014 19:17

Ours are always nice, a bit chatty, pass pleasantries about the weather, etc.

Maybe up north they are just nicer???

Here, the one Asda one I had was rude, but Sainsburys and Waitrose were polite and pleasant. I've never used Tesco delivery.

LittleBairn · 14/10/2014 19:19

I've always found them polite and well mannered.

CedricBloomer · 14/10/2014 19:19

The last Asda driver that came here told me to hurry up about taking the bags off him cos his bollocks were freezing.

I like that. True grit.

They are always very polite IME. The ocado threads are all zombie ones someone has reignited for whatever reason, either a troll or have some major ocado related bee in their bonnet today Hmm.

The last ocado delivery driver I had was a very sexy Irish man named Ian. I wish you could request drivers, I would certainly be requesting him again Wink. Might just have to get that late night slot more often, ahem.

CrumpleHornedSnorkack · 14/10/2014 20:43

You will not speak ill of the Ocado man. He is a god in our house.

TSSDNCOP · 14/10/2014 20:48

In 10 months I have never had the same Ocado man twice. That's 40 odd deliveries.

But they've all been lovely.

Unlike the Sainsbury delivery that just didn't arrive! had that nights dinner on board! but blithely decided that even though the cock up was theirs that I'd be oK to wait until the following morning.

I wasn't.

drivenbyyou · 14/10/2014 21:32

I luffs our Asda delivery man. He's my DH Grin

Aridane · 15/10/2014 14:00

what is it with all these Ocado threads at the moment?

ithoughtofitfirst · 15/10/2014 15:38

I might start getting home delivery. Shopping with a toddler is such an arseache.

ithoughtofitfirst · 15/10/2014 15:41

Holy shit i'm on ocado's site.

Love.

dinkystinky · 15/10/2014 15:48

The guys whove delivered to us have all been lovely - and really sweet with my kids too

cricketpitch · 15/10/2014 15:57

I have only ever had lovely Ocado drivers. Helpful, polite, considerate. Not an easy job driving to deadlines in hiddeous traffic, loading and unloading in all weathers - and often in the dark. I'm sure some of the customers are lovely - and some probably aren't. I respect anyone who does a good job.
