ffs! Honest to god I buy packs of sodding pens at a time and a few weeks they just all disappear. Ofc the wife & kids all deny taking them. It must be the fucking cat! Bastard.

I feel your pain. I hide my precious babies Sharpies.

Does the cat take the kitchen scissors & sellotape too?
Hide it all & replace with pencils nicked from DC's desks & safety scissors.

This made me smile because after my grandad passed away we found a stash of pens that he had hidden in the side pocket of his chair. He hated not having a pen for the crossword.

The cat has probably had to steal your pens because he can't get the to work.

I hide biscuits from my DH, they also have a habit of disappearing when I need them!!

I hide pens at work. I work with engineers, and everytime one of them is in the office my pen goes missing. Every single time.

I have a secret stash of anything useful at work. If there's anything useful, I put one out, and keep the other one in my drawer that nobody goes in.

I hate running out of things.

I buy cheapy crap pens for the dc to chew and lose use.

I buy myself lovely ones and hide them.
I have a tin full of sharpies which the dc know to ask permission to use.

Yes my pens go missing too but I have a much bigger problem with socks ! I buy us all black socks all the time can I find a matching pair no!!

DH bought me a big pack of quite naice biros for my birthday. I bought him some in return. They've all gone now. I mean where can they go? They don't have legs. Do we both keep removing them from the house without realising and leaving them places? DS is too young so it can't be him.

Hmm, I might just go and check under his pillow.

I feel your pain.

If you work in an office with lots of men, hide pens/highlighters/data sticks/ treats in a maxi pad bag in your bottom drawer. Men will never touch them. I learned this growing up in a car dealership where my brother liked borrowing highlighters, then leaving the caps off so they dried out like turds.

I bought a box of 20 biros and a huge pack of Sharpies I luffs Sharpies a few months ago and stuffed the pen pot by the phone and the other one by the computer full of them.

I now have one biro and one Sharpie left. Where the fuckity fuck have they gone?!

DCs are too young, so either DH is nicking them for work, or the cat is eating them .

Would it be OTT to buy myself some name stickers and label all of my pens? Or might hide them all in a Tampax box?

DH exclaimed on seeing my new Sharpies "ooh I might take them to work they look brilliant!" to which I said I would serve divorce papers.

Pens are sacred.

At work I used to keep my retractable Sharpie on a lanyard to stop it being nicked, it's the best pen ever.

DH has one pen that slots into his work notebook.

I'd rather write with my own blood than use his pen and risk losing it

I buy new pens and art pencils, but they always seem to vanish. Amazingly, nobody ever takes them, even though they are commonly found in the husband's coat pockets, in DS's room, and, most commonly of all, in DD1's room. If they are all innocent, the only thing I can figure is that the dogs are planting them around the house for a laugh.
