AIBU to eat this fish??

Went shopping on Monday was late home and a bit harassed by DC's......I obviously didn't get all the shopping in as I just found a carrier bag in the boot with TWO packets of fish pie mix in it. I'm so unbelievably pissed off with myself, I hate hate hate wasting food, plus it's worth £7, I'm going to have to chuck it out aren't i?! Wwyd?

I wouldn't eat it, seems too risky.

I know how you feel though, I hate wasting food too.

I'd feed it to the cats/dogs, etc. but no, couldn't eat it.

Sorry wouldn't do it. Even on cold days the sun can heat up the inside of a car boot.

I think if you open it up, you will get your answer very quickly. Fresh fish basically smells of nothing but a whiff of the sea - I suspect this will honk to high heaven. Is the packaging bulging? That can also be an indication that something nasty is happening inside.

Thanks for knocking some sense in to me.....no fish pie for tea tonight then!! Such a waste, it was me at to be a real treat too....

I will eat stuff that other people consider dodgy, but I wouldn't eat your fish. Four days in car boot when the weather hasn't been that cold is too risky and it's not like you can heat blast fish to death either.

I did the same with a huge pack of mince last week. Gutting but consoled myself with the fact that a veggie meal was better for us...
