Yes, yes, first world problem alert...
Boden had a 'clearance' on. I am a loyal customer and filled my little basket to the brim. Was all summer bits which are clearly no longer needed in the UK. Didn't check out because, you know, stuff, children, blah... Went to check out and it's all doubled in price!
I'd understand if it were a 'sale', but this was a 'clearance', thus implying that things are being cleared out... Emailed customer services after one Sauv Blanc too many and their reply was that there was an 80% clearance and now it's 40%. So they missed my pedantic semantic point entirely!
Isn't a clearance different to a sale??!!
