We live in a rural area, next to a busy road. Just as it was getting dark, DH and I went out to walk the dog. We noticed a car parked just behind the wall next to our house at the side of the busy road, on a blind bend, with two people sitting in it and with the lights off. It was hidden from our house windows by the wall.
Its quite unusual to see a car parked there, its not at all a safe or obvious place to park, so we crossed over the road to the pavement on the other side and sort of looked at the car. It seemed so odd, DH decided to take a photo on his phone.
The man in the driver's seat then started up his car and drove along the road slowly so he was level with us and started shouting at us for taking a photo of him and saying that his car had broken down. He was very aggressive. I simply replied that it was our house that we were taking a photo of and we would do so if we wanted to, and to leave us alone. He shouted something else, then drove off at high speed, engine revving. Other cars were swerving to avoid him - its a very busy, narrow and fast road.
Thoughts? Eyeing up the house for a possible burglary? Why the lights out if his car had broken down?
