To be appalled at Millie's cookies?

The last time I bought any was about 12 years ago, but I bought some last night.

I wanted the twelve mini ones. So I stood in front and pointed out the ones I wanted. Turns out they were the normal sized ones and the pile of crumbs were the mini ones. The ig ones used to be the size of your face. Now they are tiny. As for the little ones...there's nothing there. When did this shrinkage take place?

I have no idea it had OP. Last time I had Millies cookies was last year and the normal sized were normal sized to me. If they've changed...maximising profit?

hormonalandneedingcheese · 27/09/2014 12:15

Didn't realise they did mini versions just normal and large.

Aeroflotgirl · 27/09/2014 12:45

I havent had a Millie cookie since I was 22, and now I am 37, been sometime

HeySoulSister · 27/09/2014 13:36

Why would you want a cookie the 'size of your face'

Minikievs · 27/09/2014 13:41

They aren't a patch on Cookie Jar so YANBU to be appalled by them

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 27/09/2014 13:53

They are nasty, most of the time they taste undercooked .
Cookies should be crisp and a bit chewy.
Not raw Hmm

picnicbasketcase · 27/09/2014 14:08

They never have any nice flavours of those giant muffins anymore so they can piss off Smile

Orangeanddemons · 27/09/2014 16:11

I don't want a cookie the size of my face particularly. It was just they had shrunk so much I was gobsmackef

Why wouldn't you want a cookie the size of your face?! Grin

Agree fairy Grin

I have a weakness for Millie's cookies. I like the salted caramel ones!

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 27/09/2014 16:24

Have you made them? So easy and bloody lovely.

MyFairyKing · 27/09/2014 17:01

You can make them?! Oooh

riskit4abiskit · 27/09/2014 18:57

Ooo I want to make one the size of my DHs face including beard!

My DH makes them and they are so good!

MyFairyKing · 27/09/2014 20:20

I have saved that recipe in my favourites. Think I'm going to make them tomorrow. I say 'them', what I mean is that I am going to make one giant cookie. Grin

YourMaNoBraBackOfMyCar · 27/09/2014 23:12

They are so expensive. My 3 kids asked for a reindeer cookie pop (a bloody biscuit on a stick) and they were £7! I cancelled the order and got them something similar from Greggs for a third of the price.
