AIBU to want to rant at this FB share?

The poor man who was killed by a tiger in Delhi Zoo today. Why are people sharing the video of it happening on FB? Do they not actually realise what happened and just assume someone 'stupidly' got in to the enclosure and then escaped again? One of my friends has just shared it and entitled it 'Oh dear!' . Are people really that stupid?

I've read mixed things: some indicate the man deliberately went into the enclosure. Others suggest he fell in. I agree it is pretty dreadful but it is quite possible people genuinely don't realise what happened.

Some one commented on the daily fail website that it must be fake . So I think there's some lack of understanding that it actually happened and man is dead and a tiger behaved perfectly naturally but I presume it's life is also now at ris!

Is this the white tiger one? If so that is a child being mauled. It said "student" and I assumed adult, I only realised they meant a child when I saw the video/pictures.

I saw it via a friend of a friends fb and was absolutely disgusted that people have been sharing it! I dont think peopke actually realise its real., well I hope that's the reason very sad! Poor Boy! RIP

The news reports say he was 20. Luckily I'm not friends with the kind of people who would share this on FB. Delete them

It never ceases to amaze me that people seem to think the barriers at the zoo are to prevent them from having fun with all the cuddly animals.

I've had to yell at parents standing their children up or sitting them on the railing right above the fucking cheetahs. I yelled at one parent to get their child off the railing, and this was shortly after a toddler was eaten alive by wild dogs because his idiot mother dropped him in the enclosure with them.

Rant aside.. no people shouldn't be posting snuff videos.

Just delete the people who post it. Are they really friends? I never see things like that because I don't know anyone who would share it.

FB causes such upset on MN- I'm sure that it is caused by simply collecting names and having masses of people who you never see, wouldn't want to see and are not friends. Prune the list to people who are in the same wavelength-even if gets rid of the majority.

Same for me Alex I've decided to deactivate mine for a while. I will be back because I like to keep in touch with family overseas on it but I'm having a major friends cull when I go back.

Not surprised, especially after how many people viewed/shared the beheading IS footage. Some people do love a bit of gore, others will be curious.

The fact that it's real wont make a difference because they're detached from it.

It's probably no different than watching a movie.
